In the case of all closed permits, the City retains the authority to engage with the current property owner regarding issues of non-compliance with building and electrical codes, and other building or zoning by-law requirements. However, in terms of the requirements associated with the permit process itself, the City considers these requirements to have been met at the time of the closure.
