A detailed work plan with a completion date is required for the Demo Permit Extension Request. A maximum 2 month extension may be granted. Requests are not guaranteed. Notification will be sent via email. If approved, a deposit in the amount of 40% of the original permit fee must be paid. This deposit will be refunded, without interest, if the work is completed and inspected within the extended time period.
Defect Extension Requests are not guaranteed. Notification will be sent via email.
Permit Start Extension Requests are not guaranteed. Notification will be sent via email. If approved, a deposit in the amount of 40% of the original permit fee may be required upon review. This deposit will be refunded, without interest, if the initial inspection has been conducted within the extended time period.

This deposit will be refunded, without interest, if the work is completed and inspected within the extended time period.

Failure to apply for an extension prior to the deadline will result in additional administrative fees as stated in the Planning, Development, and Building Fees and Charges schedule.
